I couldn’t be sadder on this day. I have been doing everything I can to keep my chin up and my head out of the gutter. However, it has been a losing battle of me versus my memories. You see, it was one year ago that my grandpa passed away from this Earth. He and I had always been extremely close. I wasn’t very familiar with any other members of the family but my grandpa was always there for me when I was growing up. In fact, he continued to be a positive force in my life even after I was well into adulthood. I think that my grandpa liked to help me with all of my newfound responsibilities as a real grown-up and a homeowner. He was always coming over and helping me with my indoor appliances, such as my heating, cooling, and ventilation system. When I moved into my first house it was a fixer-upper with a terrible indoor air handling system. I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford a professional heating and cooling upgrade for many years. Thank God, my grandpa stepped in and helped me to purchase and install a new air conditioner and forced air furnace within my first year of owning the house. After that, I continually saved on my energy bills thanks to the updated central HVAC system. I was also capable to save on professional heating and cooling repair services because my grandpa was very knowledgeable when it came to troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining HVAC devices. Since my grandpa has been gone I have missed him everyday… And so has my heating and cooling system.
