I had to make one of the toughest decisions of my life last year, plus that was the decision to transport away from my family plus friends to further my work.
I would not have made it except for the fact that I had to in order to transport ahead in my work, plus I know that I will be able to transport back to my friends plus family in just a few short years.
I moved to a city about seven hours south of where I grew up, plus it has been quite taxing if I am honest. I have met many new friends, but there is nothing like the friends that I have known for fifteen years plus. I miss my family a lot as well. One of the things that I never expected to bother me is the weather conditions change. It is so much warmer here than where I grew up. My good friend and I do not even get snow in the winter, which is entirely sad to me because I care about snow. The Summer months are so tepid plus humid. I do not like the heat, but it is nothing compared to the humidity. It’s not only hot, but when you sweat it’s like you never dry because of how humid the air is. I used to be able to run about five miles everyday when I lived back home, but now, I can only run about three, plus I guess it is because of how humid plus thick the air is here. I have a/c in my apartment, of course, but it just did not do enough to get rid of the humidity in my home office. I decided to buy a dehumidifier for my home office, plus I honestly care about it. It makes living here a little easier.
