My hubby very prefers road trips, and so do most of my children.
I do not understand why they care about road trips so much because I very dislike them… To me, there is hardly anything worse than sitting in a car for hours upon hours..
It feels like such a waste of time to me, then unfortunately, I do a lot of traveling for my task, and I spend countless hours behind the wheel. My children beg to come with me whenever they get a chance because they care about traveling. It does help when my children come because they keep me business, but most of the time I travel alone which is irritated to me. My boss knows how much I dislike traveling, so as much as he can, he gives the trips to others, however I end up taking at least two per month. The last trip I took was bad because the A/C in the van that I was driving went out. I did not notice it for a little bit. I just felt hot, and I thought it was because of the high temperatures outside. It was in the nineties that morning. I finally realized after stopping for some supper that the van was not cooling down at all. The vents were just blowing moderate air. I opened all of the windows in the van and made the rest of the trip, but it was irritated, and by the time I got to my hotel I looked like a moderate mess. I will never forget that morning, so I make sure to have a mechanic check the A/C before I leave on any trips now.
