I recently got my own home for the very first time.
I’ve always lived with friends or girlfriends but decided it was finally time for me to transfer out on my own. I was a little concerned because I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’m used to having people around me all the time. I also have four sisters so before I moved out of my parents home I still have people around me always. However, I have started to legitimately love my free time in the little things that make residing alone better, one thing I wasn’t expecting was I would be able to change the temperature of the thermostat to whatever I want. I am always chilly in my home however I know that’s because my girlfriend that I lived with before wanted the temperature of the thermostat lowered all the time. She hated the idea of being sizzling while she slept so not only did she have the air conditioner blasting all night long but also had a ceiling fan turned on. I basically had to sleep in sweatpants as well as a sweatshirt just to stay warm. I absolutely hated residing like that as well as now I don’t have to. I can keep the temperature of my home whatever I want as well as I have never felt more free. I hope that I notice a difference in my energy bills because when I lived with my girlfriend before they were always seriously high. Now I realize it was because of her air-conditioning habits.
