I’m not sure who thought it was a good idea to build a house without a central air conditioning system in it, but they must not have ever lived around here during the hot summers that we get
I still can’t believe that my family decided to move somewhere that does not have air conditioning, especially at this time of the year. We always have really hot summers around here but this year is supposed to be even worse than normal. At least that is what the almanac and the weatherman have said about it. I don’t know if it’s true, but so far the temperatures have been a whole lot higher than they usually are at this time of the year. I have been trying to figure out what to do about it but right now there is really nothing that we can do. We moved to a new house several weeks ago because we needed some extra space. Even though our old house was really nice and it had a great central heating and cooling system, we still decided to move to the other side of town to a larger place. I like the fact that we are going to have a lot more living space in this house, but I hate the fact that there is no air conditioning in the house at all. I would really love to get central A/C put in, but with the money situation that we are in right now, there is just no way to make that happen. I think that we are going to be in for a long, hot summer this year.
