It’s important that emergency services are available when problems in your home arise. My wife and I decided to take the kids to the zoo for the day and we left at 9:00 in the morning. We were gone all day until the zoo closed at 7:00 p.m. We don’t have any dogs in the house, so the only thing we had to worry about was the indoor temperatures. I have a smart thermostat in my home, so I can easily monitor the indoor temperature from anywhere. I even get an alert on my phone if there are any problems in the house with the indoor temperatures. While we were at the zoo, I had a notification on my phone. The notification let me know that the temperature was slowly increasing even though I had the air conditioner running. It was about 4:00 at this time, so I told my wife we should get ready to leave. The kids wanted to see the fireworks at the end of the day, so we stayed until closing. By the time we got back to the house, it was 83° inside. The first thing I did was contact an emergency AC repair provider. There are at least a dozen different AC repair providers in my neighborhood but only a couple of them offer emergency services overnight. In my opinion, if a company doesn’t offer emergency services, then they can’t be very good. Emergencies with the air conditioner and the furnace happened at all hours of the day and night. If a company doesn’t offer services for emergencies, I look for someone else.
