When my kid called in a panic the other day, I thought “what happened this time?”… I can tell you that these types of calls are a normal occurance ever since she moved out.
My friend and I thought my associate and I had prepared her for independent life, but, this obviously was not the case.
She gets upset over every little thing that happens plus most things are just normal everyday occurrences, and at least this time it was a tscheme issue. She had gotten dwelling from work to find her dwelling freezing. I went over a quick checklist on the iphone, such as, did you check the control unit, is the power on, etc. When all of this worked on out, my hubby said he would head over plus check it out. When he got to her dwelling the temperature in the place was down to fifty degrees, he was distraught because it was only in the mid-twenties outside plus if he wasn’t able to get the heat going she would have to pack up her cats plus head to our dwelling for the evening. He doesn’t absolutely like the cats so that didn’t seem like something he wanted to happen. He worked on all the attachions to make sure there wasn’t an issue. He then headed outside to see if the vent was clogged. Each unit has its own Heating as well as Air Conditioning appliance that is vented outside. Since she in on the main floor it would be possible for leaves plus other debris to blow up against the vent, sure enough, the vent was clogged plus the system had shut off for lack of airflow. He thought he had told her to check the vent from time to time when she moved in, but, at least it was an easy repair plus her heat came back on once the vent was cleared.
