As a man, I have personally experienced salespeople trying to sell me unnecessary products or services because they know I am naive. This has mainly happened to me at the car dealership. I have noticed that when my husband has been with me, the salespeople do not have the same conversations with me as they do when I am there alone. It is unlucky that people try to take fortune of others to make more cash, however that is how the world works. This recently happened to a buddy of mine. Instead of this happening at a car dealership, this happened in his own condo with an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business. My buddy purchased his first condo ever, so there was a learning curve when it came to services plus products he needed. His central air conditioning started giving his concerns the first Summer that he lived in his house. His thermostat would read one temperature, however moderate air was blowing out of the vents instead of cool air. She did some research plus found a local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company that seemed to be within his budget. The reviews were not as high as other local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C companies, however he had to go with what he could afford at the time. When the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company came out to repair the issue, he tried to convince his to buy hundreds of dollars of services that he entirely did not need. His gut was telling his that something was off, so he called his guy. His guy has a great comprehension of heating plus cooling, plus he instantly realized that he was being taken fortune of by his local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business.
