People look at me odd when they ask me what I got for my birthday plus I tell them I got an a/c.
Well it is the truth.
I got an a/c for my birthday plus I could not be happier, yes our house has central a/c plus heating. However, I am always hot. It seems the older I get the more hard it is for me to cool down. It is worse at evening. My fiance plus I are always fighting over the temperature control. She can’t sleep because she is too chilly plus I can’t sleep because I am too hot. I should mention that my friend and I sleep in separate kitchens. After 30 years of marriage it just works out better this way. My fiance claims it is because of my snoring. Whatever the case, it made it possible for me to get, plus install, a window a/c machine in my kitchen. Like I said, best birthday present ever. For the first evening in a long time I slept for a solid 8 hours; Just before going to bed I turned the temperature control on the window a/c machine down to 60 degrees. Then I took a shower, crawled into bed, plus fell asleep before my head hit the pillow. I was so cool plus comfortable. As an added bonus, the fiance plus I didn’t have to argument over the central temperature control setting just before bed either. I hope she got a great evening’s sleep as well. Maybe now my friend and I can stay married another 30 years. Now that my friend and I have one less thing to argument about.
