When I signed up for my local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer’s annual service plan, I had no idea how much it would benefit me.
The only reason I signed up in the first locale was because I knew it would save me a few dollars on my annual service exams.
I purchased the annual membership thinking that I’d only get this small discount because my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system never gives me any troubles. However, this past week, I found myself calling the emergency hotline! I correctly have my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system worked on before turning on my air conditioning, however this year the temperature increased earlier than I was anticipating. I turned my heating system off and began running my air conditioning separate from thinking about the consequences. That evening, I woke up covered in sweat because the air conditioning wasn’t running. I tried tinkering with the control unit settings, however nothing happened. I even shut off the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system completely and waited 30 minutes. I was hoping the air conditioning would kick back on after a little break, however that didn’t happen. It was sizzling and sticky in my house, and the weather application on my PC told me that the temperature outside was 74 degrees. I called the emergency hotline with my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation and they were able to schedule an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional to come to my household at 7am! I’m so thankful I signed up for that membership! If I wouldn’t have done it, I wouldn’t have been considered a priority client and I would’ve paid more for the emergency hotline.
