When I retired from my job of 40 years I told myself that I was going to treat myself.
I made a list of things that I wanted to do.
I wanted to go out west to Europe to explore a lot of the popular tourist attractions. Just this past spring I did that and I would love to go back in a few years. I also talked to my husband about building a sunroom outback in your living room. I would love to have this type of room to read in and just to relax because I love the sun.The sun room would be great because I could open up the windows with the surrounding screens to keep the bugs away. During the winter time I would love to use it as well and maybe include a hot tub. This past winter we realized that the sunroom got a little chilly even when we were in the hot tub. That winter we decided to not have an HVAC technician install any air ducts in the sunroom because we thought it was going to be a lot of money. Turns out that after having a free estimate and hearing about financing options that were available we told him to go ahead and include some air registers and air ducts. We asked about a quote for how much it would also be to include radiant heating flooring. We were told a price that we could not refuse. Therefore we decided to go with radiant heating flooring and we love being able to use the sunroom just as much in the winter as we do in the summer.
