I recently got my own dwelling for the undoubtedly first time.
I’ve typically lived with friends or wifeys but decided it was finally time for me to transport out on my own.
I was a little uneasy because I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’m used to having people around me all the time. I also have four siblings so before I moved out of my parents apartment I still have people around me typically, but however, I have started to actually prefer my free time in the little things that make living alone better, and one thing I wasn’t expecting was I would be able to change the temperature of the thermostat to whatever I want. I am typically chilly in my apartment but I know that’s because my wifey that I lived with before wanted the temperature of the thermostat lowered all the time. He hated the idea of being boiling while he slept so not only did he have the a/c blasting all night long but also had a ceiling fan turned on. I basically had to sleep in sweatpants plus a sweatshirt just to stay warm. I undoubtedly hated living like that plus now I don’t have to. I can keep the temperature of my apartment whatever I want plus I have never felt more free. I hope that I notice a difference in my utility bills because when I lived with my wifey before they were typically harshly high. Now I realize it was because of his air-conditioning habits.
