I have always had to mother my own mother.
She isn’t developmentally disabled, that I know of. She just has never genuinely been all the bright, however as a result, I was always the one taking care of the family, making sure the younger adolescents did their homework, plus cleaning up the house. As the oldest, it just fell on me to do. I don’t resent my mother anymore for this. I did when I was younger though. Now, I feel she just did the best that she could. I am thrilled to help her out as much as she needs, however one thing she clearly needs help with his respected Heating plus A/C maintenance. I have had to pay to replace her Heating plus A/C system 3 times in 10 years. Why? Well she forgets to change the air filters or schedule respected Heating plus A/C maintenance. With this final Heating plus A/C replacement I signed her up for an Heating plus A/C maintenance plan. This plan is set up so that the Heating plus A/C servicemans literally do everything for her. They come out plus change the air filters many times a year, they tune-up the Heating plus A/C system officially plus keep the HVAC duct clean, plus they do anything else that the Heating plus A/C system requires. My mom was kind of frustrated when I bought the plan. She said it was a waste of currency plus that she’s not a baby. I bit my tongue plus didn’t say what I was genuinely thinking. What I was thinking is that it was a much greater waste of currency to keep buying new Heating plus A/C units because she is incapable of caring for the others I bought her.
