Now, twenty five years later my friend and I both agree that my friend and I are residing on borrowed time.
It has been over twenty five years since my friend and I obtained out home. It was a fixer upper for sure but my friend and I knew that my friend and I could do a lot of the work ourselves to save money. My wife & her family all have experience in one part or another so that made fixing things up a bit easier & way less extravagant. My sister in law was even able to install the current boiler & the pipes required to heat the house. At the time my friend and I obtained a respected component because that was all my friend and I could easily afford. The warranty was for ten years & my friend and I thought surely my friend and I would be able to afford & update by then, then well, ten years came & went & my friend and I still had the same boiler. Now, twenty five years later my friend and I both agree that my friend and I are residing on borrowed time. That same boiler is still in the basement & so far it has worked. It helps that my friend and I don’t have to use it exclusively to heat the house as my friend and I have a wood stove as well, then it gives the boiler a cut however I am still fearful that one night my friend and I will wake up & the component will have given up for good. A few years back my friend and I had it looked at & the specialist was surprised that my friend and I still had it because it was beyond its life expectancy at that point, and my associate and I have discussed the fact that my friend and I easily should beginning saving up for a current one & I only hope my friend and I follow through before it is too late.
